Get a head-start in life by learning piano at an early age
A plethora of research in the field of early childhood and education suggests that the period between two to five years old is the golden period to give your child a head-start in physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development.
During this crucial window period, essential brain and neural development occurs. The brain’s plasticity and the breakneck speed at which neural connections are being created imply that environmental stimulation and interactions are vital to ramp up neuron connections. Undoubtedly, playing the piano helps with that.
As aptly encapsulated by Anita Collins, “Playing music is equivalent to a full-body workout.” It not only engages all areas of the brain simultaneously, but producing music also requires the exquisite coordination of fingers, wrists, elbows, shoulders, and spine, down to every joint.
Here at JoyWaltzAcademy, our philosophy is to nurture a love for the piano in children as young as 3-years-old. Our curated Little Pianist Prodigy (LPP) programme aims to ease students into learning piano foundation using propriety learning materials and pedagogy.
Furthermore, we offer both group and 1-to-1 class settings to cater to a variety of preferences. Group classes offered to students enrolled under our Piano Prodigy programme – includes LPP and IPP. Group classes are capped at 3 students (of the same age) to provide a conducive social setting for learning to take place. Group classes provide the opportunity to forge friendships and foster camaraderie while 1-to-1 classes are suitable for students who prefer personalised attention.
